Guided by the philosophy that a holistic environment appeals to a significantly great number of potential guests, HBA designers were inspired to bring in the concept of healing throughout the hospitality design.
Located at the entrance to Jerusalem’s historically rich and increasingly cosmopolitan German Colony in Western Jerusalem; the landmark hotel interior design project is comprised of two distinctive 19th Century Templar buildings as well as a modern nine-story building.
The Orient Jerusalem features two high-end restaurants and bars, a museum, a boutique spa, a ballroom and event spaces, as well as a total of 250 guest rooms and an elegant rooftop pool and bar that crowns the building.
Catered to the modern, luxury traveler, the Niccolo Chongqing was designed as a contemporary, urban and chic destination with a unique hospitality design.

Qianli Yanxia Jinshuitou or “Gorgeous Clouds and Water in the Distance,” the largest Shu embroidery in China embodies the natural beauty that designers captured in the hotel interior design of the Fairmont Chengdu.

HBA spearheaded the renovation of Vintage Estate, which is comprised of the Vintage and Villagio Inn properties. Working in tandem with two of the firm’s subdivisions – Illuminate Lighting Design and Canvas Art Consultants – HBA weaves a cohesive, harmonious hotel interior design narrative throughout.
Guests are greeted at the Vintage Inn with a warm arrival experience – after passing through a new open-air portico and outdoor fireplace, two-story windows in the hotel lobby pour sunlight onto the solid walnut plank floors, a natural link to the beautiful outdoors.
The Lodge breathes new life into this historic locale, which is one of golf’s most sacred experiences. With a stunning hotel lobby design and welcoming Great Room, the Lodge provides a warm fireplace and unparalleled lake views to guests upon arrival.
In the guestrooms, artful elements like historic local photographs, carved sculptural screening elements and unique wall art using trees salvaged from site construction, all work together to tell the Edgewood story in a way that is authentic and personal.
HBA completed the first phase of the redesign of the luxurious Shangri-La Dubai to bring a fresh, bright and modern look to the luxury hotel that had been a Dubai staple for more than a decade.
Renovations include the hotel’s public areas, including the main lobby and lounge, Dunes Café, corridors, lift lobby and guestrooms. The refreshed design blends the hotel’s elegant atmosphere with the next-generation appeal to match its surroundings in Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed, located right in the heart of the vibrant and rapidly expanding city.

HBA was tasked with setting a new benchmark for the Curio brand, while also respecting the culture and interior design of their target market. Al Rayyan Hotel is connected to the landmark Mall of Qatar and celebrates the art of shopping as an extension of the retail experience, with an infusion of Qatari heritage.
A three-dimensional backdrop commands your attention upon entry of the hotel lobby, illuminated by a skylight above. The 40-meter-high geometric patterned screen, inspired by rich Arabic motifs, casts playful patterns on surrounding surfaces.
Creating the second property for the new CELESTINE HOTELS brand, the project was conceptualized to be a destination-style hotel where the hotel stays itself, becomes a purpose of travel.
Guided by the development concept of an “Elegance and Quietude,” the hotel was created to present an elegant, yet relaxed space. The simple hotel interior design is marked by a carefully choreographed display of light and shadow, centered on a glass art wall accented with an uneven surface in the hotel lobby.
Le Méridien Shanghai, Minhang features 240 chic guest rooms and spacious suites displaying contemporary artwork that blends with timeless furnishings to create a warm ambiance.
Designed to pay homage to the notable discoveries China made in the art of image captures, such as camera obscura and shadow play, all the finishes, details, and lighting schemes in the hotel reflect the unique history that lingers within the ancient town of Qibao in Minhang District of Shanghai.
